Part 7: Drawing the chassis and axles

Drawing the chassis and the axles, so we can create the link setup

Laptop and miscellaneous measuring tools
First thing to do is to set the chassis level with a level, so we can use the ground as a reference for measuring
Drawing a 2D side-view of the chassis
After the 2D drawing, it's time for the 3D version, We used a more powerfull PC instead of the laptop for this job(We used the 2D drawings as a base for the 3D)
Rear axle on the bench, Chassis lifted out of the way. (I Should have built a bigger garage)

An other look at the rear axle

Time for some screenshots

The Chassis in 3D, In full Detail, The old leaf-spring mounts are not on the drawing, they will be cut of later in part 8. This drawing makes it possible to add the axles. airshocks and the link suspension in the design. So everything can be checked, and double checked if it will fit and how
the suspesnion will travel, After this check every requierd bracket will be laser cut.
