Before i go any futher with the project i want to get the Nissan Patrol axles ready for installation

Front axle

First i took the powerwasher out, to clean the axles

All the Mud and grease removed

Removed the brake calipers and used the anglegrinder to get rid of the old Nissan leafspring mounts

Also on the other side

All brackets removed

Used the anglegrinder with the sand-disc to remove the remains of the brackets and get a nice smooth finish

Rear axle

Rear axle is next

On jack stands

What a mess behind the drum, But it doesn't matter since i'm going to overhaul the axles and brakes anyway

The other side shows nothing bad

Time to remove the brackets

Spring perch removed

More metal gone

Also used the sand-disc to get a smooth finish
